Be Encouraged...Be Victorious

We have talked about what LOVE is. Let’s take just a few minutes to talk about what LOVE is NOT. Strengthening Our Black Females Out of LOVE, it’s important that we eliminate the things that will stop, block or stagnate our ability to lift each other up. Propel each other forward. Celebrate our success as sisters in the struggle!

Love is not jealous. Envy, resentment, malice and rivalry are all the same. They are the opposite of Love. When one of us wins, we all win. When one of us is lifted up, all of us are lifted up. Jealousy is nothing more than a trick of the enemy to make us feel less than we are. So let’s rejoice with that sister who just got a promotion, a new house, a new car or a new love. Be happy for the blessings in another person’s life to make room for blessings to flow to you.

Love is not boastful or proud, and definitely not rude. We should strive to rid ourselves of negativity. Especially as Black Females. The world wants us to hate each other. Be jealous of each other. Be rude to each other. Boast and brag on ourselves while we run each other down on social media. But I say NO! We will not be divided! United we stand against anything that tries to take us down.

My LOVE says I’m proud of you my sister! My LOVE says I’m bragging about how absolutely beautiful, brilliant and breathtaking you are! My LOVE says I will speak positivity into your life and mine! My LOVE says that together, whether tall, short, thin, thick, curvy, natural, straight, locked or weaved… WE ARE VICTORIOUS!
